How to reset after cleaning
Once you run the unit through the cleaning cycles the light will clear it's self and start the controller on a new count down. If controller dose not clear the light then the controller will need to be replaced. Now with that the controller will still run the machine and work fine a control board is not cheep and as long as you clean the machine every 6 months it will be ok.

My binsensor lingh is on but my bin is not full so my ice machine
I see you already said you bin sensor light was on. The drop door has a metal tab that waves over a sensor as it opens, if that part when it closes does not tell the board that door is shut the the board thinks the bin is full. I know you already know that but until I can talk to Scotsman on the phone or review their service manual for your model. One good thing about Scotsman is they are very helpful to their customers. Unless the machine is obsolete.
Water led blinking twice
If your machine has the CM3 Universal controller on it and the red light is on at the Diagnostic water then you have a water fill problem.
1. Check the water filter to make sure it is not stopped up, if so then replace it.
2. Check to make sure the water supply line is not kinked.
3. Check the water supply valve remove the supply line to it after you shut off the water supply there is a screen in the back of the valve make sure it is not stopped up.
4. Check the water fill valve, First turn the machine off now push the Freeze tab with a meter check the solenoid on top of the valve to see if you are getting power to it withe the water hooked back to it and on, if no power to solenoid then check the sump water sensor and replace it. If sump is full of water check water pump see if you have power applied if you do then replace pump. At any time did you replace the Service controller? and if you did, did you set the selector switch on the side of it to the correct Model- Program that is on the back of it? With out the model number i don't know if you have a CM3 machine or a PRODIGY controller.
Reset clean light
Did you clean the machine? When you went through the cleaning steps it should have cleared the clean light. I will tell you what to push first Remove the front cover. If the machine is operating then push and release the harvest button. When the machine completes the Harvest cycle it will stop. Push and release the OFF button. Push and release the clean button. The yellow clean light will blink and display will show C. The machine will drain the reservoir and refill it. Go into the next step when the reservoir has filled. Allow the the ice machine to circulate water for at lest 10 minutes. Normally this is when you would add your cleaning solution but i take it you have already cleaned the machine. Now push and release the Clean button again. The yellow Clean light will be on continuously and the machine will drain and refill the reservoir repeatedly to purge out the ice machine. Now Allow the drain and refill process to continue for at least 20 minutes. Now Push and release the OFF button. The clean cycle will stop and the display will show 0. Now push and release the on button. This should have cleared the yellow clean light. Now with that out of the way if it did not clear it then you will need to replace the control board. The machine will steel make ice with no problem and you just clean the machine every 6 mounts. The yellow clean light is just to remind you that it is time to clean the system. The board is quite costly.
I have a Scotsman Cm3 which will not stop making ice. When I come back to work in the moring and open the door, ice falls all over the floor. Is there a way I can fix this?
Is the ice building up into the ice head enough to break the beam on the bin sensor. if so replace the sensors. if ice is not up far enough shut machine off remove plastic grid reach in and down to where bin sensors are and watch to see if light blinks on and off if so they are good. next step check the bin there should be a white ice deflector with 3 thumb screws in the top of it make sure this deflector is mounted so it makes the ice build up high enough to cause ice to reach bin sensor. if the sensor is not seeing ice then it will let the machine keep making ice. If this is all working good then replace the service controller but make sure you look on the back to set the right model program for your machine.
Should a scotsman ice machine
Yes, all ice machines have a means of automatic shut down when the bin is full. What is the model number of your machine and your bin?
