My computer is not recognizing

You have corrupt IDE drivers. You may need to re-install your motherboard chipset drivers. If that still does not resolve the issue then you may have to re-install Windows from scratch.

I have LG hl

Hi al_zahid,

There is no driver required for this drive as it uses the inbuilt window's support for dvd or cd ram drives.

The drive could not be working because of a bad lens which you can get replaced, or you can use lens cleaner to try cleaning it first.

If the tray is not opening up then it's the problem with the gears in which case you need to replace the tray gears by opening up the CD/DVD rom drive.

Hope this helps ...:)

My h22L/ns40 cant read anything. it working normal

Maybe it is the disks you are using. Perhaps a bad batch. Perhaps there is something patially covering the laser and inserting a cleaning disk could remedy the problem too.

My pc recognises my dvdram as cdrom, after re installing.

The media you add is a DVD correct? If so, your DVD drive driver seem to not be working right. I would take the drive out and boot the pc without it in. Then shut it down and re-install the drive. If this doesnt fix the issue, try re-installing the drivers for your DVD drive. You might want to open device manager and uninstall the drivers before re-installing them. I had this happen to me once and this is how I got it working properly again.

My pc recognises my dvdram as cdrom, after re installing.

Nothing to worry about, it all depends on what type of disc is in the drive at the time.
