if it's just small marks then you could probably get rid of it with windex or even just a bit of water on a paper towel. If they are scratched, try using a fluoride base toothpaste on the screen. Rub it in with a paper towel then wipe it off. It might help to fill in the scratches.

This is usually due to water damage. There is no easy fix for this. I'd suggest taking it into where ever you bought it and asking them what actions to take to get it fixed or replaced.

i uploaded pictures from my phone to my PC but i forgot to safely removed it before removing. then i notice that the phone pictures shows 'no files' when in fact i didn't delete any of it.

Cell Phones and Water Do Not Mix Well.

If your phone is submerged in water for a SHORT period of time,
the proper way to attempt to save it, is to:

A) Remove the battery ASAP.
B) Open it up as much as possible.
C) Dry it out (Don't Put it in the Dryer!!!)
D) Clean all contacts with alcohol and qtip gently, allow to dry thouroughly for 24 hrs is best.
E) Make sure battery is dry as well.

F) then reassemble it and try your luck.

If it still doesn't work, it is done for.

From the sounds of it, you still have water in your phone, and if that's the case, you've probably already shorted it out/fried it. but try the steps above and MAYBE you got lucky.

Unfortunately, your warranty/insurance will not cover water damage!!!
but if you can "prove" that the phone is "defective" (the sticker under/near the battery is moisture-sensitive and is white when new, if it is colered (like pink or blue, that indicates you got it wet........then they willl know)......

HINT, HINT--- I boght a phone and it didn't have that sticker/sensor.......thus it was considered to be "defective" and they replaced it for free!......FYI.

Turn your phone on from standby. Go to 'Settings > General tab > Master Reset > Reset All' and follow the instructions on the screen.

a programme called se tool lite can reset the code to 0000.

with phone switched off, sim card and memory card removed press identify then press and hold 'c' then while holding 'c' plug the usb cable in. the first time it will ask for drivers which you direct it to wherever you extracted the folder to.

Note: some anti viruses detect this as a virus, its a false positive and would be advised to switch off resident shield before you extract file and while you use this programme, it will not hurt your pc in any way as i have been using it for years
