PUK code, (personal unlocking key).

This is SIM card related / specific. If you take the SIM card out of the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.


The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.

The puk code may also have came with the documentation of the sim card, if its a prepaid card the Puk code comes on the documents or on the box of the product.

You don't need your sim cert or other documents, if you can at least remember the owners name (i hope so), call the customer care and tell them your problem, they'll give you the number to unlock your puk issue. Please don't enter any random numbers/codes before you call them up, it'll only damage sim card and will no longer be usable.

you will need to get in touch with your Mobile Service provider to get the PUK Code. There is no any other way.

call your carrier from a land phone, the rep will walk you through...and give you the 16 digits to get your cell unlock

go to any MTN office around you and they will ask you the number you nomally call 24/7 on the sim that lost

contact your network provider or visit there website they will give you puk code

Your PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is given to you by your service provider and is associated with your sim card number. You need to contact them or go to their website and log in. Please don't post your number, you're asking for trouble!

you can find ur Puk number at back side of your plastic sim card .it will have 8 digit.

You can call your Network provider to give you your PUK code. This also happend to me last week and was given a code.

Call their help line with another phone or go to their office, explain this to them and provide all the above information when required.
