How to empty dyson
Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum!
Emptying your unit's dust bin is crucial to maintaining your unit working efficiently and it is a very task to do. First, make sure your unit is off and unplugged before starting.
Push the release latch on the cyclone assembly towards the rear of your machine and remove the cyclone bin. Take the bin to a trash can before pressing the red button located behind the handle on the dust bin. Shake and/or tap firmly to remove all dust from inside the fine dust collector and then close the clear bin by pressing the center of the bin base.
It is highly recommended for allergy sufferers for the dust bin to be wiped with a damp cloth. For optimal performance, do not forget to wash your unit's washable filters at least once a month.

Disassemble dyson ball dc26 for moving
Hi Linda, it's Jack at Dyson.
I'm happy to provide some further advice on how to dismantle your machine for transit. If possible, can you double-check the model number? DC26 is not a Dyson Ball model, and the directions would be different if you own another type of Dyson vacuum.
Once I have this information I will be in touch. Alternatively if you'd prefer to contact our experts directly, you can reach us by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).
