Sounds like an icemaker problem to me. If valve is stuck you would have to shut off water to stop it from flowing

Frank- another direction to try could be that either the temp sensor is faulty, thus not telling the controller that the box is over temp, so the controller is not sending power to the fan. Or the controller itself could be the issue.

2 posibles problems. if the ice is only about 4 an 8 inches you have a seal system problem.(evaporator freon leak) need replace the evaporator asap. if the ice cove a big part of the back wall you have a thermostat problem. for replace the evaporator better call a tech. remember to call a subzero factory authorized company. maybe still under some warrantty> good luck LEAVE YOUR COMMENT IF IT WAS GOOD FOR YOU....... Is it on the copper tubing coming out the back? Insulate the pipework with foam insulation. If it's on the back of the freezer. the wall insulation has blown (not repairable)

It is more than likely that the fan motor itself is giong bad. It could also be that the blade is hitting the shorud or the blade is crackled and causing a bad vibration.
