CP-100 (3.1) connected to a CICS (7.1) expanded.
According to your problem I suggest getting a battery back up or UPS for this system. If it is a 12 volt system, it should be relatively inexpensive to get one installed. If you have one, your system will stay active for up to 24 hours during a power failure. Your Callpilot uses volatile memory, which clears when power is not supplied. If you had a battery backup, it would never lose power and your greeting will stay on it. Auto attend also may response to touch tone.
check it is not touch or very near with another electronics or high voltage. check the sound system and settings also. You can follow the manual or visit website.

Invalid feature and 2 lights lit
Two lights lit is the normal situation - it means that the two voicemail ports are connected to the Norstar System and active. Press "Feature 9 (star) 1" to view the CallPilot Feature Codes. Then enter System Administration feature code to begin programming the system.
Good Luck!

Have vm node going to
Looks like you are having some problem with the setup of the voice mail on the norstar callpilot 100.
I am assuming you are using the NVM interface as mentioned in the
refererence manual. So you are saying you have call forwarded on no answer and busy to another ext. but it rings out in that condition.
Have you programmed the voice mail setup as per the
user manual?
You will have to be careful when you forward extentions. These systems are not designed to carry over the voice mail to the forwarded extention. So if the another ext is not responded to the forwarded call will ring out. You should check the outbound message feature to see if the forwarded extension can also forward the mailbox to that ext. (not just the call).

We loose our auto attendant greeting everytime we
I suggest getting a battery back up or UPS for this system. If it is a 12 volt system, it should be relatively inexpensive to get one installed. Call a security system installer or a trusted electrician to give you an estimate on a battery backup. If you have one, your system will stay active for up to 24 hours during a power failure. Your Callpilot uses volatile memory, which clears when power is not supplied. If you had a battery backup, it would never lose power and your greeting will stay on it.
Thanks for asking.

CallPilot 100 Unplugged it and plugged it back
The CallPilot takes between 4 and 15 minutes (depending on software level) to boot up. After that, the lights should come on for each port connected to the telephone system. If not:
1. Check the wiring between the phone system and the CallPilot;
2. Make sure the wiring between the phone & voicemail systems is less than 50 ft. (15 meters);
3. Remove & reinsert he feature cartridge.
If still not working - the unit needs repair.

To take the message from the outside,you have to
Are you calling from a cellphone? Not all cellphones send long enough touchtones for voicemail systems to recognize. Try calling in from a landline to test. Check cellphone user guide for info on increasing touchtone length of time.

I have a callpilot 100/150 we acquired an add-on
First thing, the Call Pilot is your voicemail, not your telephone system. Your telephone system is most likely a Norstar CICs unit.
If the lines(trunks) are analog, it is the local telco provider that is handing out your caller ID.
Outgoing caller ID is not one of the features of the system for analog circuits. If you were running a PRI or BRI, then the system can hand out the caller ID. I would ask your telco provider to check the outgoing caller ID once again.

Unable to add Subscriber Mailbox
You may have to purchase additional mailboxes. The CP-100 comes with 10 mboxes, and additional mailboxes are "unlocked" by purchasing a Mailbox Keycode. Consult your telecom supplier or service company.
Good Luck!
