some times small particles or grit get into the lens housing and prevent movement... try holding the camera vertical with the lens pointing down and tap the back of the camera firmly a couple of times... keep the camera in this postion and switch the camera ON and OFF a couple of times to try and loosen any foreign particles... you may have to repeat this procedure several more times before you achieve success...

You would need to start from your facebook account. Fisrt you need to decide how to organize pictures in your facebook. If you have many pictures you want them to appear in an album, if you have one picture to brag about it is probably better if it appears on your timeline. Depending on what sections your pictures to appear click either "photos" tab or in the status line Photo/Video and then "upload pictures/videos". You will see links like "create album", this will open a computer explorer so you can select either from your memory card or computer. Then follow the obvious steps by clicking "ok", name albums add descriptions etc.

Log on to your Facebook account using your old email address, click the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right, click "Settings," then click the "Edit" to the right of the "Email" line.

Since you asked this question, I'd suggest starting with the Landscape mode. As you gain more experience, you might try the other modes. Eventually you'll get to the P, S, and A semi-automatic and the M manual modes which give you full control over the camera. These modes will let you control what the pictures say to the viewer instead of letting the camera make the decisions.

Try cleaning the contacts inside the battery compartment. If that doesn't work try different batteries. If that doesn't work you have a problem with the camera itself and it will need to go back to the manufacturer for repair or cleaning. Diane NYC Photo Safari
