Hi your camera problem cause very simple by bad memory battery on main pcb or the processing main pcb itself. To know repair cost, I need to know name of your camera model. Even you can repair your self if you are willing to do with risk. But it is quite easy. Any way, please let me know camera model name. It is located on bottom and very small letters. You can insert the card into a card reader , connect it to the computer and scan it with this software. See if finds your files. If it can you can purchase the full version to recover them. I wish you good luck!

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hi,

That is a system error related to the automatic focus and since it is caused by a failure in the integrated components of the camera, it needs to be sent in to be fixed (i.e. the camera replaced under warranty) Call 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.

It can be a few things:

1) Low batteries - Replace or recharge your batteries.

2) The lens assembly is bad and needs to be replaced. Replacement cost through the manufacturer can vary but is usually around $100.

Move the slide switch on the side of the card.

If you are sure there is no problem about the LOCK switch on the card. You have to change another card to see if there is the same notice, or you can use a card read on PC to see if there is something similar. Then you can be very clear about the problem. Choose your model number from that site and you should be able to access the online manual. If you are looking for a new charger, best bet will be to order one online or try and fine a third party one from Best Buy or similar store.

It is possible you have a bad card. If you have already moved the switch on the card to check and make sure it's not locked, then your card is most likely dead.
If you purchased this on eBay, then you were probably sold a fake card. eBay can help you get your money back through the resolution center.
