Color ink is coming out blue

That means the colour cartridge has failed, as only one of the three colours are working. Try running a head cleaning routine, that may clear it, but don't do too many as it will use up all of your ink. You may need to replace the colour cartridge. The following YouTube video shows you how to change the cartridge. Canon MX410 Changing the cartridges

When my mx410 is left on and im on the phone I get a lot of static

Look for a poor connection from phone terminal to the machine. Double check where you ha e it plugged into. On the machine. If your using a 4wire phone line go to a two wire. I Believe that a poor connection is your problem. I use a two wire cable not a 4 wire.

My MX410 won't print. I get a message that sys the printer is offline. I have reset the print and checked to ensure that is online but I can't get it to print.

Make sure you have the current driver installed.pixma maxifi works real well. Follow the steps on wireless connection or wired. Then search the printer. Make sure both device and printer are on the same network. In the set up you will be prompted to pick the network. Canon.com/ijsetup

Always receiving fax

You will need to select manual under the RX settings. Under fax settings. Rx means receive, Tx means transmit. The fax settings are under additional functios * on keyboard. Or you can put a switch in the phone line. When you tell it manual you will have to be there to receive a fax. In the fax settings there are several options on how and when you receive a fax. Ring settings forward settings things like this can customize your fax. You can set how many rings before it answers. Leave it on auto and set more rings so it won't answer until that many rings. Default is 2 or 3 rings. Give it 5 that will give you time to answer and you can still get faxes when your not there. Play around with it and figure out what works for you.

Where do i find the ink cardridge

If you open the front tray where the paper comes out, you should be able to lift up under the word canon. It should lift like a car hood. If the printer is on then they will come to the center of the machine and stop. Lift up on the "C" or "B" for which ever is being changed. (color, black; respectively)

Doesn't pick up paper evently???

Ensure paper path is clear. If so.. Then clean pickup rollers, first (carefully) with lint free cloth* and water. *If you do not have any lint free cloth, use what you have and clean rollers afterward with sticky tape.

Unable to scan or copy. Getting "please wait awhile" notice

First try shutting down the printer using the off button. Then turn it back on. If this doesn't work then abruptly turn it off by pulling the plug from the wall and plug back in to the wall socket and turn on the printer.

Unable to scan or copy. Getting "please wait awhile" notice

The first thing that did when I had that problem with a Pixma that I had for years was to go to Internet site for Canon, select my model, download the latest set of drivers, and install them. That took care of the problem.

Hi Not perhaps as helpful as we would both prefer but all the manual (which can be found here:- Canon PIXMA MX410 and downloaded and installed to your computer) says about this 5b00 error is:- "The machine error has occurred. Contact the service center." A slightly better idea is on the Canon site here PIXMA Printer Error Codes and Error Messages Good Luck

All my faxes say busy

It is not uncommon for this to happen. What I did with my Pixma was go on the assumption that the fax executable file had become corrupted. So I uninstalled it, then reinstalled, and all went smoothly until the next time, when the same solution worked again. Since the other possibility is hardware which means money, try my solution.

How do I fix a error u053

Hello, U052 means there is a printhead problem, either the printhead is incorrect, is not seated properly, or has become damaged. Please take these steps to reseat the printhead,Reseating the MP600 print head. Unplug the printer sharply from the power outlet while it is still on. While the printer is off, press and hold the power button for 1 minute Finally, while holding down the stop/cancel button (or just the power button if you don't have those), plug the printer back in, and power on the printer if it doesn't do so automatically. Then try to do a printhead alignment, click hereHowever, if you'd done all of the above except for purchasing a new printhead part, something it is usually cheaper to get a new printer, as the work needed to replace parts, and the part itself costs more or almost as much as a new printer. Printers are usually "throw-away" devices, the companies make them too cheap and they normally don't earn on the printer itself, but rather by selling print cartridges and special paper. If you prefer to purchase a new printhead, you can get one here: Canon QY6 0061 Printhead for Pixma Photo Printer Hope this helps Mark
