Have you tried reinstalling your Quickbooks? From time to time Quickbooks does have errors related to their updates. The 1st step I would suggest is back up your company data file, and then uninstall, shut down, and then reinstall. Then you can import your data file back into Quickbooks. This should resolve your issue.

SDF file is a compact relational database also called a SQL server database. Designed for the application that runs on mobile devices and desktop. If you only want to access SDF files in Excel sheets then you can see your SDF files in SQL Server or Visual Studio.

The file includes all necessary code points to access the data, and so does not require an instance of SQL Server to be installed.

You can create a .SDF file with a software called PocketSYNC. (Although i have never tried it myself, a lot of people claim that this software works like charm. But it is not free)

okay people... this is a long one, but I just did it for two units that were having this problem and it worked both times.
The problem is the unit sat on the shelf and doesn't have enough power to operate its charging cycle.
Take an extension cord and plug in the outlet charger while you also plug it into your cigarette lighter... now attempt to charge it (you will hear the familiar alarm). Now, turn on the LED light... after a short time, turn off the light and the unit will begin to charge regularly. You can then use one of the chargers to finish the job.
By doing this you are providing plenty of power to the battery while the light drains it at a slower rate... kinda forcing the battery to condition/cycle; it's just allowing the battery to take the charge. Hope this helps.

You may want COUNTIF if you're specifying criteria. For instance, if my prices are found in b3 to b7, here's a formula that will find all those that are less than 6 ($6.00):

=COUNTIF(B3:B7, "<6")

If you're using multiple criteria, such as you want to find all the prices that are greater than $5 and less than $8, the following will accomplish it. (The ABS gives you the absolute value of the result, in case the smaller number is first.)

=ABS(SUM(COUNTIF(B3:B7, ">5") - COUNTIF(B3:B7, "<8")))

Does it connect after the error ?. First try to connect from your client to Oracle server using SQL plus client.

Second - Do a tnsping <server name>

This will give you the correct Host name, SID and Port number.

Make sure that your JDBC connection parameters match with the actual connection from TNS output

If it is not supported in XP, then you should change your operating system or change the version of Tally that matches the system you already have.

You can probably use the key (top-left of your key-board) Esc (or "Escape"). If that doesn't work try "End".
