Turn off the laptop, and remove the cord from the outlet.
Lift the laptop lid so the screen is in an open position.
Locate the small screws in the lower left and right corners of the screen.
If the screws are concealed by plastic plugs, carefully pry them out with a flathead screwdriver.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn each screw in a clockwise direction to tighten it.
Move the screen up and down to test it.
If it is still not tight, twist the screws counterclockwise to remove them.
Store the screws in a safe location.
Slip the tip of a knife into the seam where the front and rear of the screen meet.
Lift up on the knife to pry open the cover, and continue until the back cover is removed.
Rotate the laptop so the rear of the screen is facing you.
Locate the screws at the lower left and right corners of the screen.
Twist the screws in a clockwise direction to tighten.
Gently push the back of the screen into place with your fingers until it snaps back on.
Turn the notebook around so the monitor is facing you.
Reattach the screws to the bottom left and right corners of the screen.
Push the plastic plugs back over the screws if your computer had them.

6.Close all other programs.
7.To start the system restore, click Next.
8.Your computer restarts. Repeat steps 1 through 8 until you fix your configuration issue.

Reinstall Windows from a Disk
1 Turn on your Toshiba . Insert your recovery disk or the original
Windows operating system DVD
into the 's CD/DVD drive. Turn off the computer.
2 Turn on the Toshiba . In the first few seconds while it is
starting up, press and hold the F12 key on your keyboard to access the Boot
Menu. (Note: Some Toshiba models may tell you to press "C" to boot
from the CD-ROM). The screen will display boot for this boot up
session only.
3 Use the arrow keys to navigate. Select the CD-ROM/DVD drive to
highlight it. Press "Enter." Be aware that this setting is for this
session only; it is not a permanent change.
4 Allow the computer to start up. Follow the onscreen instructions
for reinstalling the operating system from the disk.
Reinstall from a Recovery Partition
1 Boot up the Toshiba . In the first few seconds while it is
starting up, press and hold the F8 key. This will begin the "Advanced Boot
Options" menu.
2 Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate the menu. Move
the keys to select "Repair Your Computer." Press "Enter."
3 Select your language and keyboard; click "Next."
4 Select your Windows user name from the drop-down menu. Enter
your password if required. Click "OK." This will begin the
"System Recovery Options" menu.
5 Select the Toshiba Recovery Wizard and follow the onscreen
instructions. The Toshiba Recovery Wizard will delete all existing data on the
hard drive and reinstall Windows.
