Samsung YP-S2 MP3 Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

You can download MP3 songs on the Internet, some sites have free songs, other sites charge to download these songs.
I suggest you Google search for MP3 songs/music you prefer say, Rock, Classic, Country & Western etc.

if samsung yp-s2, press with a pin in the reset hole to reset the device. chances are you are trying to play formats it does not support. try to stick with mp3 or ogg. some ogg formats beep like that too tho. it does not support drm windows formats

My yp-S2 mp3 player is only showing a blue-green color where the light shines and its not playing music or anything, the light stays on, doesnt flash or anything, how do I fix it?

I would suggest resetting it and seeing if that solves the problem.

There is a small hole in the body of the unit to gently insert the end of a paperclip to do this.

It sounds like there is a problem with the battery. Have you tried plugging it into the computer and leaving for 2-3 hours to allow it to charge? this may give it enough power to start when you unplug it. If this doesn't work, you should consider getting a new battery.

While connected to the PC, go to my computer. Right Click on the USB Audio device (mp3 player) and choose Format. It will now format your player. Just make sure to back up your files first as to formatting will restore your player to default settings and will wipe out the memory.

Try resetting the device it?s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds or Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

Ok either the battery is shot or you have screwed the system and frying the motherboard you should contact customer support buy a new battery or try connecting to charger and ressetting it.

If this is about your Google account, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the Google sign-in page.

Use a toothpick to clean out the lint in the usb connector. If you use the mp3 player a lot without the cap lint will build up and cause misalignment when plugging it in the pc.

this could be a driver problem

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices

if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? ! or a red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver

if you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver

On the rear of your TV connect, with a phono/RCA cable to the Audio R + L sockets, connect the other ends to your Yamaha using the TV in sockets. See photos attached Hope that helps. HDMI is for video unless the extra pins are added for audio.
