Keep getting invalid disk error atho have tried 4
You can try lense cleaner, and if that do not work, it requires repair in which the laser assembly needs replacing cuz they do go out often. Laser diodes are easy to go bad because of current surge.
I need a philips cl034 universal remote code for memorex dvd play
I have similar problem with a Philips CL034 Universal Remote and a Memorex MVD2047.
The Philips/Magnavox codes listed at this link did NOT resolve the problem. I tried all Memorex codes and tried the "all coded step-through" method.

The above is NOT a solution, rather a note on a time consuming attempt to a solution.
Audiovox DVD Home Theatre system - STS93
I use a pocket knife to help mine open and then push it close. As far as i can tell the tray for this model was ill designed coupled with a crappy motor that may go out with out reason or warning...
Speakers being bypassed
I would get a copy of the manual first. Check the speaker settings in the menu or front panel to deterimune if the "A" channel for the front are turned on. Center speaker will work under Pro logic settings(all). A stero source is required for at least Pro Logic processing. I looked unit up on e-coustics and found some speaker set-up problems related to input level.
How can i get the surround sound to work.
You need to get an HDMI cable going from your Cable Box to the Surround Sound system. If you are low on HDMI ports, you can RGB cables for Video.
Your quote: " I have a HDMI cable plugged into the TV and the Cable box." move that cable to Surround Sound and Cable Box, and use RGB cable or HDMI to go from Cable box to TV!
If your Surround Sound has no HDMI, use a Fibre Optic to go Cable to Surround. It will work Great!
Good Luck!

This item is a USB2.0 device. Older computers use USB1.0 and new computers USB3.0. Depending on your computer age, this may not be recognized. I suggest you make certain all USB device drivers are up-to-date.
