Car stereo problem

im not sure if its just newer cars only or most cars but some have whats called a courtesy fuse probley located under your hood. check that fuse. easiest way to locate that fuse is just by calling plymouth and ask, another way to check to make sure if your cd player works in that car is to connect your yellow constant wire with your red power wire and see if the player works if so you could probley leave it like that but when you turn off your car you would lose all your settings and such like the time setting therefore it is not recomended, give it a try good luck

Cd won't play

The yellow wires on back one has a white cap the other has a red cap those are the input wires you need to buy the cord that goes from a red and white RCA jack to a 3.5mm headphone jack

Jensen CD3010X Radio Problems

This happened to me too--with the same unit. I finally took it apart and found that the volume up button was shot. The tiny piece of metal that makes electronic contact had actually snapped in the middle causing contact to be made at random by bumps rattles or just about anything. Since the unit automatically comes on when the volume button is pressed, even turning it off was ineffective. So...I unsoldered one of the buttons that I never used much and soldered it where the broken volume button had been. I'm no expert, so I was rather surprised when the unit worked after i reattached it in my dash. Anyways, it was a cheap fix for a cheap--and poorly made deck. good luck

Car stereo

if u got an amplifier, make sure u replace the fuse with a higher amp fuse, If the face for the detatchable deck got some kinda liquid, use compressed air to clean it a little bit, make sure alternator is charging and if ur car is not running then make it run to keep the battery chargin, :)

My cd player wont play my burned cds

this happens all the time, instead of getting CD-Rs, try getting the CD-R Music, they are specially made to be played on CD players, I buy these all the time and they work in every CD player.

Bass, treble, balance and fader are all accessed by pressing in on the volume control knob. Press and release repeatedly to select the various functions, then turn the knob to make adjustments.
