You actually have to purchase the bluetooth module seperate, its just a box that clips to you're visor and has a microphone and a connect button on it. It has one cable which is ran to the back of your stereo. The one made for the uv10 is called the btm10. However I have found that the btm15 works much better and has 2 microphones in it (one for calling and one for voice searching). You can find these on amazon and also jensen.com the price range runs from $40.00-$80.00......... Hope this helps you out...

All DP decks just need the parking break wire either pink or brown connected with the ground for them to play all the time.

I have a 96 Deville also and i'm installing the same radio in it in about 2 days. there are two options to bypassing the video lockout:you can either buy the PAC TR-7 bypass cable which costs around 20 bucks on sonicelectronix.com or you can wire the parking break wire to a toggle switch and ground a wire from the neg end of the toggle switch.The PAC controller is way more convenient because you dont have to flip the toggle switch 3 times everytime you get in the car.I hope this helped

You might not be in PARK. Or the relay is not hooked up to the parking switch.As a safty function Indash DVD players will only play if they know the car is in park.But it can be bypassed to work while in drive.Selvol

Your remote may be faulty.I would either take it to an autozone and check it is working there ( they have an infrared remote check on their keyless remote battery center that will show the IR signal being sent).ORyou can point it at almost any of the security cameras in production and view the 'IR flashlight' on the video screen/ monitor.If the remote is in fact not producing a light , I will assume the unit needs replacement batterys or remote.Alternately , you can disassemble the remote and check the IR emitter with an Ohm/Volt meter.should the signal be present on the meter and yet no 'light' is being emitted , then replace the emitter with a new one (avail. at radio shack...)If the remote does emit a signal , chances are the reciever is bad.My Jensen came with two remotes... did you try the other one ?

go to setup hit 543210 but hold 0 then turn the bake override on and then hit the X

check to see if the const. (its usally the yellow wire) wire is going to power at all times and make sure that you have both ground wires at different places

I have same problem with same uv8 but i use remote to activate am/fm then hit setup on rem.enter 543210 and a new menu came up. ( listening for the beep after each 3 is pressed ) select the hammer in upper left hand corner of screen, select brake bypass to on, then hot the X near bottom os screen. this works for me it should work for you.
