Need a wire harness plug for a kdc319
Hi there,Kenwood adapter looms are readily available from your local Auto Accessory store, of from Ebay. These are a 'plug & play' solution (pre-wired), which eliminates the need to cut any of your existing vehicle's wiring.Ideally, you want a single adapter loom with Kenwood plug on one end, with your vehicle's "factory" plug on the other (all common brands are available).e.g. Kenwood ---> Ford; Kenwood ---> GM etc etcCheers,

I am looking for a unlock code for a kenwood car
Unfortunately Kenwood codes are only available from the Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)
How can I hook my I pod to it it dont say aux or anything it has
Goto your local best buy or equivalent and ask them for a wireless transmitter it plugs into your ipod and transmits on the unused portion of the lower band of the radio. like 87.9fm and when the connection is made you can play your tunes and have it come over the radio.
Memory erases everytime the ignition is turned
Be sure that the yellow wire from the cd player is connected to a +12 volt source. ONe god source is the orange wire from the cigarette lighter if the cigarette lighter is working fine. If not run a wire from the yellow wire of the cd player to the fuse block in one of the pins marked "bat". Good luck. Please rate.
MY KENWOOD CAR CD PLAYER IS SAYING PROTECT??
Hi,
Kenwood head units show "protect" when there's a problem with the speaker outputs. This might mean a shorted speaker wire, a blown speaker, or an internal defect in the head unit. Once the condition that's causing the "protect" mode is fixed, the CD player should be back in normal mode the next time you turn it on.
If it's staying in "protect", then you'll definitely have to remove the stereo and do some troubleshooting to fix it. Many car audio stores will do system troubleshooting, for a fee. If you want to do it yourself, here's what you need to do:
Pull the Kenwood unit from the dash and disconnect all the speaker wires. Turn it on and see if the "protect" message displays. If it does, the stereo has an internal defect and will need to be serviced. If it doesn't, then turn it off, and re-connect one speaker. Turn it on again and see if it displays "protect".
If it works with a single speaker connected, keep re-connecting the others until you identify the speaker that's causing the problem. There may be a wiring problem or defective speaker in that location.
If it displays "protect" with a single speaker connected, then disconnect that one and try a different one. If all the speakers cause a "protect" mode, then you're probably back to a defective head unit, unless your friend managed to blow all your speakers at once.
Thanks,
