Wiring diagram
there is normally a wiring diagram on the unit somewhere. on the back or behind one of the covers.
either way there is not much to it if is just a fridge. if there is no electric defrost then the only thing that will usually turn them off it the door switch - when you open the door the fan can go off and the light on- if it is more of a commercial type fridge then there is possibly a coil temp sensor (clixon) a little switch that reacts to the temp of the evaporator coil and will not let the fan come on until the coil reached a pre set temp.
if there is electric defrost (usually only on freezers but sometimes on fridges) then there will be a defrost timer. if this is the case then the compressor will turn off while the fan is off and heaters will warm up the coil.
if you just want to check the fan then grab a multimeter and do a basic continuity test between the 2 wires (not the earth wire) if you have a reading then most likely the fan is ok

Cooler wavers between 35 and 45 degrees.....even
Probably... OK I am going to fill you in on something here that almost no one knows. The True coolers all use a thermostat that reads the coil temperature and has no idea what the box air temperature might be. They are all pretty much the same but have a few different variations. For most beverage coolers though they are getting the coil down to around 13-15 degrees and then shut off and stay off until the coil gets back up to 38-40 degrees. This means that the air temperature can be anywhere from 23 to 50 degrees at any given moment but the product temperature is going to average out in the middle. If the box is full no problem the temperature swing will not be anything like this because the product will keep the temperature more stable. If the box is empty you will need to put SOMETHING in there to help stabilize the temperature before panicking. 3 or 4 gallons of water will do. Also if you want to sleep better at night put a thermometer in a glass of water in the cooler to get a better idea what your product temperature really is and don't put too much faith in the cheap dial thermometer mounted to the outside of the box. Oh and set the dial on 5 and if that doesn't work the thermostat could be a problem... they are the weak link in these units.

Will not mailtain 40 degree,everything
Hi joonshikchoi,
This means that you need to install a new thermostat since the one that you have is already defective
that's why you cannot maintain 40 degrees. You can purchase a replacement on this
link.
Hope it helps.
Thank you for using Fixya.
