There is very little sense in posting the same query multiple times, and even less in posting it without telling us the actual problem. This code you have quoted is meaningless without a full description of the problem, the conditions under which it occurs and all other relevant information.

Sorry I can't directly help with your problem but I advise you the repair cost at a repair shop would probably cost nearly as much as a replacement... Unless you have a handy friend who works cheaply you won't lose anything by repairing it yourself. You will probably find some useful how-to videos to help you on Youtube.

I would imagine, although I am not familiar with this model, that demo mode means just that - sufficient recording time to demonstrate the camcorder's capabilities. Is there an option in the menu system to turn off demo mode ? Or, you could always look in the manual.

This equipment is approximately seven years old now - if you are still using the original battery, it may have reached the end of its useful life, even though it indicates fully charged. Try with a replacement battery - if you still have the same issues, then a visit to a service centre is called for, I'm afraid.

Fixya does not offer either a repair or replacement service, merely advice. My advice in this situation is to take the camcorder to a repair facility.

Sounds as if there is friction within the mechanism somewhere. Have you tried to fast forward the tape, then rewind it fully ? This may loosen things up a little. Another possibility is that the tape itself has issues and is sticking within the cassette - have you tried with alternative tapes ?
