I have the brain unit I can sell you for $100 plus the main unit also I purchased the car and do not have the code to use the radio so I have the brain and the radio it will cost me $75 dollars to get the code from panasonic and I rather buy a new radion !!!!

If panasonic CQ-VAD7300U is asking for a 4 digit passcode you might have accidentally turned off the unit or main power supply is disconnected. You may try to do these following steps to bypass the password.

1. Press and hold down the track button for about 20-30 seconds during the code request.
please look for this sign.( >> ).

2. Release the switch once you see this **** on display and code will be cleared.

This is a mechanical failure, It should be shown to the service center for repairs or replacement of the mechanism.

Page 74 has wiring diagram. Yellow wire goes to 12 volts always on and red wire goes to 12 volts that turns off when you turn the car off.

During code request mode press and hold the track up button >>] for about 20 or 30 seconds and when you see on the display **** release the the switch and the code will clear.

The memory wire is your yellow. The red is switched/ign power. If your ever unsure its always the one with a fuse on it or the thicker of the 2 wires

the only way that i know of to get past that is completly unhook the deck for like a night and hope it resets. some wont reset because it holds memory even when pulled out but it worth a try

The rca plugs can short out. Or one of the comparator that is for audio selection. Might can get away with just replacing them

Hi Greg, I'd say you have a bad audio output IC, generally this will take out the fusable resistor that feeds the output stage, you should be able to find a part number on the IC, do a pin out and check between B+ and ground pins with it in circuit and see if you see a short. I don't know if you can find a service manual for it but hopefully you wouldn't need one

Question edited for clarity and typos. The first thing with CD Ejection issues is to try a CD Cleaning Disc. It has brushes to clean the laser optics. They always fail on the low power tracking laser. When it fails self test, it ejects. also First unplug power for at least an hour, then press and hold the power/on button while plugging back in, and keep holding for another 60 seconds .
