Codes for Panasonic SA-HT720 using dish network

Hi, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. The best codes for a Panasonic sound system for the 21.1 IR/UHF remote are 2643, 2672, 2677, 2678, 2715, 2749 and 2843. I will also list here for you the instructions for addressing the remote to the Panasonic sound system using these codes. I hope you find this information useful and if you have any further questions please let me know. Instructions for addressing the remote to the sound system
  1. Press and hold the AUX mode button until all mode button back lights come on, then release.
  2. Use the number buttons to enter the device code corresponding to the equipment.
  3. Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

How do I unlock the panasonic 5 disc player. drawer will not open

In the first decade of CDs, there used to be transport screws on the bottom cover to keep the mechanism from banging around during transporting. They used to be painted in RED to make them stand out to the customer. Someone mentioned on another question, that there was a hole in the bottom, that had to be to pushed in to release the mechanism. That may be a more precise answer than mine, in these current days. When I worked for the manufactures, a project engineer told my that the difference between profitable or non profitable on a product may just be the difference in pennies(the cost of those RED screws)! If you need more assistance, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com.In addition to that, the information you seek, is probably in your owner's manual.

How to hook up when you have no HDMI hook up on the DVD

So are you saying that you are using the component cables? What are you using for the audio? You should be using the coaxial or optical digital cable for the audio. Go into the menu and make sure that the output is set for component video and digital audio. For more information, or should you have any further questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me through the website. Thank you.

Why wont my sa-ht720 turn on... i have everything

Check first for shorted speaker leads or blown (shorted) speakers.Chances are, that's not the issue though. There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors in the power section.Any caps in these sections that look bulged at the top, or bulged/leaking at the bottom need to be replaced. If you repeatedly turn it off and on, eventually it'll probably stay on, but every time you turn it off, the unit will get harder and harder to start up until one day it just won't.Sometimes you have to do the opposite to start it up and unplug it for some time and then try again. If you aren't tech savvy, don't worry, read the rest of this solution and watch the videos. If you are handy with a soldering iron and can identify the power supply section an inexpensive handful of capacitors will likely fix you right up.Match the capacitance on the capacitors. Go over voltage if you can, and still have them fit.IE - it's not a bad idea to replace a 10V cap with a 16V or 25V or even a 50V, but don't replace a 680uF cap with a 500uF or a 1000uF (unless you are positive it's only doing ripple filtering, and even then, you should go OVER, not under the uF rating). Most of the caps that go are 10V 1000uF or 3300uF.I found some great videos of the procedure (for many Samsung flat panels, but the principal is the same) on youtube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm51C_RDIZEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNHHrgX_6cs&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l0AUj8QUkg&NR=1&feature=fvwphttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7b_nTaZYcU&feature=relatedAs you can see, this issue spans plasma TVs, as well as large and small LCD TVs and monitors, amplifiers, and many other electronic products using these components - and it's becoming more and more a rampant issue! The parts are cheap, and skill required is minimal. I order mine from www.digikey.com as they are less than a buck a piece plus shipping, and they usually arrive the next business day.

I CAN'T GET THE REAR

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com http://www.retrevo.com/support/Panasonic-SC-HT720-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/356ci960/t/2/ In your scenario the TV has nothing to do with the ANY audio you hear from your speakers. It's an audio output, not a sound source as you have it hooked up. RCA cables wouldn't carry multichannel audio anyway. Let

Tray locked, when restart says

The firmware crashed. To reset it hold down Rewind, Play and Eject buttons from the unit until INIT disappears from the display screen
On newer firmware versions press and hold Stop on the unit and >10 on the remote control for about 3 seconds until “Initialized” disappears.
When you are done turn the unit off and back on. This will restore factory presets.

Panasonic SC-HT720 DVD tray locked

Hello

Ok, by locked you mean it will not coe out when you press eject??

If so, here is a couple of methods you can try.

Firstly, unplug the unit from the wall power supply, wait for about 5minutes and plug it back in. Try to eject the dvd. this is the reset method.

Now, if none of the above works, have a look on the unit self, near the eject button, there should be small hole. All you need to do is push a smaal pin into the hole and gently pull out the dvd trey. Use a paper clip, it workes.

Ok, soetimes the players does not have a force eject hole, then you need to open up the unit and turn the gear which usually drives the trey in and out.

Try the steps i posted, if you cannot figure it out, please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
Andrea

Program Remote Control

While pressing [TV] button
Press 0 button to enter the first digit, and then
the 4 as second digit.
The remote control outputs the on/off signal. If the code is correct,
the equipment turns on or off.

04 is the code for Sony. You have to hold the TV button down while inputing the numbers.

Please remember to rate this if you wouldn't mind. If you need any more help feel free to ask, as I do have the manual for yourr panasonic.
