Panasonic sbwa350

The subwoofer for that system also powers the rest of the speakers as well as the subwoofer as you probably know. Is there any power light coming on? Like on the subwoofer itself where ever the power light is. If not check for a fuse. If no fuse is visable you'll have to take the subwoofer apart, the plate amplifire. There will be screws all around the metal part on the back, you must remove all the screws holding it together. Most of these types of systems have the fuse inside on the board. Also sometimes the fuse does'nt look like a fuse, it could look like a resistor or a ceramic style disk capacitor. Yours will probably have a glass type fuse. If you don't see one look on the board next to the components on the power supply board or if all together look near the transformer area for a F meaning a fuse. /there will be letters and numbers next to each component eg., resistor, capacitor, diode, etc. If you find a glass type fuse replace it with the exact same rating which will be on the end of the fuse on the silver ends of the fuse. If it's not blown you'll need to test to see if your getting voltge out of the transformer. You'll have to have the DVD unit hooked up to it, you don't have to have any speakers connected. The cable from the DVD unit to the subwoofer is what tells the amplifire on the subwoofer to turn on. You could have a blown amplifire IC. I don't know what type of ouput amplifires this uses but I'm thinking IC and not seperate transistors for the output amplifires. You might have one of those blown and if you do then the whole system wont work. Hopefully if that is the problem you'll see a burnt mark on the IIC itsel or some type of burnt spot on the board somewhere to lead you in the right direction to the problem. It could be as simple as a power supply capacitor, who knows til you get into it and start looking around and testing some things. If you don't have the knowledge to do this I am the cheapest electronics business in the USA. It's not a bad system, CrutchField sales it. Also I can waalk you through the steps to narrow the problem down. I help people everyday. You can contact me at [email protected]. I can then give you some more info and my business phone number if you feel up to doing this. It's really no big deal and I find that most of my customers who have never done something like this love and learn some electronics and now fix some other stuff they had laying around. I'm here to help. Thank you for contacting me, have a good day. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/mark_b53a7494531bf96d

I have the Panasonic SB WA1050 Subwoofer and can't

I recently had the same exact problem and found a power transistor had got a broken lead. The one on mine was on the board that the cord plugs into. It has a large heat sink that worked loose from all the subwofering. I removed it added a wire lead to it and reinstalled it. With a lot of silicone to help stop the thing from moving during use. Not sure if your up to this but an electronic shop could do it. It took me about an hour to repair once I found the broken lead.

Faulty sound on Panasonic home cinema system

If you can leave off the subwoofer (disconect it) and the sound distorts you know it's the amp.
In either case you are looking at a transistor or IC that has a heat problem. You can find out which by spraying with Servisol Freezer spray on to a suspect device, when the distortion is there. If it goes away when the suspect is cooled, then it's gone. To confirm it heat it back up with a soldering iron, it should then start acting up again.
You should be able to get the spray from Maplin (UK) or Radioshack (USA), or that type of shop.

My car stereo powers up when the key is not in

There's an different wire connection in there that is causing the problem. Even though you didn't need an new wiring harness doesn't mean that everything is compatible. Check the wiring for the power from the radio and the car.

PLEASE VOTE IF THIS WAS HELPFUL. THANKS & GOOD LUCK.

Panasonic subwoofer my receiver is yamaha

1. It's a passive sub. That means there is no amplifier built into the sub cabinet.2. Those are inductors. They passively filter the highs from the signal going to your sub.
3. It may work with the right adapters from Radio Shack. It would be a cheap experiment. Since the computer sub was 4 ohms and the Panasonic sub is 8 ohms, you are OK. You can always go up in impedance but be careful going lower. That's the quickest way to fry an amp.

Your Panasonic sub has 2 sets of speaker inputs and outputs. My guess is that the driver is a dual voice coil. If it says 8 ohms on the driver, then it is probably 8 ohms per coil. Wire the coils in parallel for a final load of 4 ohms and it will match your computer amp.

Finally, if that doesn't work then you can get an external amp to power the sub. Parts Express carries suitable amps from 25w to 3,000+w. Pick one that fits your budget.

How to rebuild, step by step, CD Changer Mechanism for Panasonic SA-AK20?

The nearest you will get is the service manual. Dowmload the service manual and follow the dissasambly and reassambly instructions to the letter, otherwise it will not work correctly and the timing will be out. https://elektrotanya.com/panasonic_sa-ak20.pdf/download.html
