Connect the USB cable to a USB port on the back of your computer rather than to a USB port on the front of your computer. ? If using a USB hub, connect to a powered USB hub. Unpowered USB hubs may not work. ? Remove USB extension cables from the connection path. ? Disconnect other USB devices. ? Both Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) (or greater) and Windows Media Player 10 (WMP10) must be installed for your computer to detect a Rio Carbon set in MTP mode. ? If you do not want to install SP1 (or greater) and WMP10 on your computer you should disconnect the Rio Carbon and change the Transfer Mode setting to MSC mode. Good Luck

Rio confirmed that there are fundamental problems with the firmware update, some people reffer to it as the "upgrader bug" . You should get Rio to replace it for you, if you can't fix it with a firmware upgrade. when you talk to them, say you saw thousands of posts about this upgrader thing on the net, and you realize its a known issue. In full sympathy, SG ;]

Take it to the nearest computer accesory store (radio shack, and ask them for a cable for it... they are plentiful (my mp3 cord works on my Razor cellphone)

try deleting the files and reloading and if that dosent work make sure your putting in the proper types of files BUT im sure you are so try this first. also after deleting try also taking out the batterys overnight . Good Luck

I think the reason is is because the song is in the wrong format where did you get the song from was it the same place you usually get songs from and did you change the format by accident this could be the only problem that you're having

If the display is working, you have audio. Check your amplifier. 1300Watt adaptor ... This unit draws a very low power and that is not needed.

1. Power Off: Turn off the device.
2. Jumper Configuration: Locate the jumper labeled "S16" on the device. Initially, it should be connected to pins 2 and 3.
3. Power On (Alarm+All LEDs Flashing): Turn the device back on. You'll see the alarm LED and all other LEDs flashing.
4. Power Off Again: Turn off the device once more.
5. Jumper Adjustment: Change the jumper configuration from pins 2 and 3 to pins 1 and 2.
6. Finished: Your Porpo YH-2000 is now set to the desired angular unit mode.

If you encounter any issues, you can press the reset switch on the back of the device to reinitialize it.
