Where can I find firmware to reboot my Rio Forge?

I have the same problem with my Rio Cali and found that there are many out there like us. Looks like we are out of luck because the Rio website is recommending that we buy a new one.

I've performed various formatting procedures with no hope - even tried a low level format and failed.

As of now, you should consider buying a new mp3 player because there is no solution in correcting the problem.

Unfortunately, that company isn't too nice about providing software or drivers for their products so good luck finding the drivers free(try craigslist) otherwise if you're willing to pay for it there's certain software that'll work just google the terms Rio Cali and software.

Your friend probably wanted to blame you for breaking her already broken mp3 player and you didn't figure that out until now.

Had problem when on the expansion SD card not being able to add playlists, found out playlist are only saved in main memory, so I had to remove a song from main memory to add another playlist.

Just try format the player and reinstall the firmware.

The double sound means that Device failed to connect. Check that your Rio is charged, working and that it is functional. Try connecting it to another Port in your Computer. Good Luck

Follow instructions at this website. You need to reinstall the "operating system" on your player. It's pretty easy.

can u upgrade the firmware and software uuse for it from the website maker ok save the update sto the hard drive then installl

Is this for all music tracks ? I think it could be a corrupt file. Why dont you try this with any other track ?

Possible that there is not enough internal memory free to support the reading from the expansion card

I think the reason is is because the song is in the wrong format where did you get the song from was it the same place you usually get songs from and did you change the format by accident this could be the only problem that you're having
