Sony CDX-T67 6-Disc CD Changer Questions & Answers
Loading disc
First try to clean the laser lens. There are disc's you can buy for that purpose. They a tiny little area on the disc that has some very fine brushes that will clean the lens somewhat. It is not as good as having a technician clean it, but it can help.
Sounds like you may have a bad laser pick up or spindle motor, sometimes it can even be something in the servo circuit for the laser or the dsp ic.
since it loads everything good, the only thing you can do to ensure it is not something simple is to make sure the disc's are not loaded the wrong way and they are clean and scratch free as possible. Sometimes a fingerprint or scratch on a disc on the inner most part of a disc will keep it from being able to be played. That is the area the TOC (table of content) is located. If the laser can't read that area, it can't read any of the disc.
Hope this was helpful, I have repaired lots of cd changers and players over the last 15 years and if it is not something simple, then it will need to be serviced.
Sony CDX-M850mp isnt playing any audio from aux or cd input
This issue might be due to a malfunctioning auxiliary input or a problem with the amplifier circuit. You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the connection between the auxiliary input and the head unit to make sure it's properly plugged in.
- Check the audio cable for any signs of damage or wear.
- Make sure the auxiliary input is selected as the source on the head unit.
- Check the amplifier circuit to see if it's functioning properly. If it's not, the amplifier may need to be repaired or replaced.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it's recommended to have the unit inspected by a professional audio technician.
What is the correct way to hook up a 1000 watt Sony xplod Amp with 1 subwoofer to my Sony mp-40
To properly hook up your 1000 watt Sony Xplod Amp with one subwoofer to your Sony MP-40, you will need to connect the subwoofer to the amplifier using RCA cables. Once the subwoofer is connected, you will then need to use a power cable to connect the amplifier to your Sony MP-40. Make sure the power cable is connected properly and that the amplifier is turned on. After that, you should be able to adjust the settings on the amplifier to get the desired sound from the subwoofer.
My Sony GT90BT car radio is not working. No power on display.
Hi,
usually one uses a power cycle in order to reset the radio. If the radio is not coming on, the wires powering it could be bad so you'd want to check them with a multimeter for current. Then, you'd want to test the car battery to see if it's still powerful enough to support all of the devices in your car. Then you can get the radio checked.
Thank you.
My Sony car radio keeps scanning but wont hold a station?
Did you do anything around the rear window glass? That is where the aerial is unless you have some other type of antennae. There is also a connector plug under the dash behind the radio. Your signal isn't strong enough for some reason. Have you tried switching between FM and AM channels.
