hi the reason why your sony player doesn't work to the samsung monitor is that the file format that compatible to the samsung LE32a336 has PAL system which the sony player that you bought is originated at france which use SECAM system. system are not compatible can not recognized the signal correctly. what you need is a multi system tv unit .

The Problem is in Laser eye assembly, you can attempt to clean the plastic lens but you must take the unit apart in order to get at it, Q tip with dab of rubbing alcohol, clean lightly in a circular motion and allow to dry for several minutes, if there is no change replace the machine.

U can't mix LG DVD player from Europe with the USA LCD or any orther tvs,because European have different format regions.The format for European are PAL format.The US format are NTSC format.That why ur LCD tv said not supported.

DVD player will play DVD disk according to assigned region code.
You can see DVD-NS330 region code at rear of player, where model and serial number is written, region code would be written in globe mark.

I'm not sure what you mean by digibox. Under what conditions are you able to see things in color? Is a digibox a seperate device you can get to work with the same connection as your player? If one device displays color on the same connection and another doesn't then that seems to rule out the television being the problem. Can you clarify a little more?

I think you solved your own problem. If your not getting enough power then one of the symptoms of not having enough power is not powering on, weird behavior, or a weak power light.

This TV is 10 years old and probably requires a service that replaces the backlight invertor or just a power supply issue. Check to see if the light blinks. (That is the fault code and then google the result for more information).
