Your system is in child lock mode. I had this exact problem this week. You need to put the system into standby mode and then press return, then enter then on/off and it will be unlocked.

Remove casing,thats the only way.

when truning on my dvp-ns305 the red light becomes green for just a few seconds. The display begins to show "wel" but stops before it is finished.

If it plays other bought discs, then maybe your DVD player has been configured not to play pirated discs or the films weren't copied well.

you can change colour setting in dvd setup to auto.after that colour come.when change setting power off dvd play then i will work fine.

first try to check the setting if its in ntsc or pal same with your television

I have a DVP-NS700,does same thing,but with copies.I just think they are more sensitive to bad discs,old/copies.I dont think there is anything actually wrong with it.

not u would have to set the code to 0 all sum do sum dont usally need a unversal region free player out of box to do it
