Turned off TV last

You will need to open the rear panel after disconnecting the power. Check on the audio amplifier for output, check for main voltage on the output, check the speakers, use a multimeter to probe if you are familiar,Try to inject an audio signal to find the section which will not respond. Once the section is isolated the fault can be zeroed in for confirmation.hope you try.Godd day

Tv wont turn

The blinking red light at the the front of the television is the "Diagnostic STANDBY/TIMER LED".
This little red light will blink 2, 4, or 5 times and then stay off for three-seconds. And blink again for 2, 4, or 5 times. This cycle repeats. The most common diagnostic code is the 4-blink code.

When the red LED blinks 4-times, it means one of two possible causes:
1) +13V is not supplied on the A-board. Or, 2) IC502 is faulty.

It is best to take this television set to a repair facility and ask that the +13V power supply be repaired.
The copper tracks and integrated circuit pads are very thin and delicate on the KV-24FV12 circuit board, and will easily lift off of the circuit board, if the incorrect desoldering tool is used. Unless one has a good quality PACE vacuum desoldering unit, one should not attempt to repair the television.

Kv24fs120 dead set with two led blinks

Two-blinks of the "Diagnostic STANDBY/TIMER LED" indicates one of two things:

1) Horizontal Output (Q502) in shorted on the A-board.

or

2) IC702 is shorted (CB board)

Two-blinks of the diagnostic red LED is a " B+ Overcurrent" problem.
The red LED will blink 2-times, stay off for 3 seconds, then blink 2-times. The cycle repeats.

The circuit board is quite delicate. One should not attempt repairs (unless one has high quality vacuum desoldering equipment such as a PACE desoldering unit).
