try to resolder all ic leads and power supply component, moreover Horizontal section.

Hello, hopefully you can help me. I just brought a used sony wega kv-27fs13 27 flat-screen tv. But when I put the cable wire in the TV it says No Signal. Do you know what the problem could be?

I'm sorry to inform you that the TV cannot be used directly with PAL color system. However, you can use a PAL to NTSC converter to resolve the issue. You can get the PAL to NTSC converter from any local Electronics Shop.

In sony tv`s the 4 blink code(sony error codes)usually indicates a vertical deflection problem.
Your vertical output i.c and/or related components are probably faulty and need to be replaced.
If you feel that your up to repairing it let me know and i`ll see what i can do to help.

are you sure all the wires are in correctly??

this sounds like 60hz or 120hz a/c ripple distortion. if taping tv corrects temporarily, ther must be poor solder on main a/c ripple filter. very large usually blue capacitor near power cord input on pcb. do not short positve and negative legs together as you could be shocked(even after tv is unplugged) and also cause more damage to tv. these filters can store electrical charges for days, even if unplugged the whole time. careful! mch

This is an indication that the sweep power supply did not give the turn on pulse from the SMPS, thats the main power supply. If you know how to use a multimeter I will send you the instructions to troubleshoot this supply. Or you may need to trouble shoot the sweep supply as well. How long have you owned the tv? You have two options though your best bet is to locate your nearest authorized service center to have the tv repaired.

Maybe there is a problem with eigther the vertical or horizontal circuitry of your unit. blinking lights indicate a problem associated with your flyback not being able to oscillate and distribute the supply for the tuner, audio, vertical...etc..
That is an internal problem pls refer to a qualified technician.

Try to press them a bit harder, sometimes they become oxidize due to non use. If there was one that is stuck, you will not get any of them to work even the power button.
Try using the remote control.

Yes, it has a digital tuner. It is functioning based on the command set by the buttons or signal/command from remocon.
