HiI think the problem is in the tuner, a small metal box near the antenna input and can be removed and serviced. But first you should check the DC supply line to the tuner. The circuit has a big limiting resistor (15K/3W) and a 33V zener diode and a small filter electrolitic capacitor). The zener is prone to be leaky and unstable.Sully
