I powered on my sanyo

Take your memory card out of phone. You will need to do a hard reset. This will wipe anything you have downloaded to the phone itself so keep this in mind. With phone off hold your green and red buttons down along with the volume down "at same time" until the phone powers on. This will reset your pbone back to when you first got it.

I have the sanyo kyocera

Hi Penn,

My name is Ryan and I work on behalf of Cricket. Does this happen while charging the phone via power outlet? Be sure that the battery is fully charged and please try removing battery and with a clean smooth cloth, wipe the battery connection points on the battery and back of cell phone device. Replace and turn back on. If you continue to experience issues, please visit a full service corp. Cricket store location for hands and assistance.

Best,
Ryan on behalf of Cricket

MY CRICKET WILL NOT POWER ITS SELF PAST THE

It sounds like the sim card is not installed correctly, or not at all? Is this a new phone, or did this behavior just start with an existing phone that was previously working? If it's new, follow the instructions in your manual to make sure you have correctly installed the sim card for your cricket service. If this is new behaviour on an old phone, try removing the battery for 30 seconds and restarting the phone. Try removing the sim card and reinserting it. Make sure you are in an area with a good signal when you reboot. I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread. If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

My Zio was working fine

What I have found through researching the problem is that you will need to reset your phone.

First go here and download the Android SDK

http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

Unzip the android-sdk-windows folder and place it on the root of your C: drive.

Then open up a blank command prompt window

(in windows 7 Open the Start Menu.Click on All Programs, Accessories, and on Command Prompt., or

To open a Microsoft MS-DOS command prompt shell window, click the Windows Start menu (located at the very lower-left corner of your computer's desktop) and select "Run...".

Then if you are using Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7, type cmd into the Run box and click "OK". You could also type cmd.exe

Otherwise, if you are using an older version of Windows, type command into the Run box and click "OK". You could also type command.exe

Once your command promt window is open

type cd\android-sdk-windows.

Then type cd tools.

Now boot up your phone into usb fastboot mode by starting with it powered off,

hold volume up, end, trackball and power all together.

You should see some text on the screen with "USB Fastboot Mode" at the top of the screen.

Plug it into your computer using the USB cable.

Now back at the command prompt window type fastboot -w.

This will erase the user data and cache partitions and your phone will be factory reset.

Once that is done it will give you a success message.
type reboot into the command prompt window and you will be good to go.

Hope this helps
