Possible that the alignment of the projection has gone out of alignment. so it must be reset with a alignment and colour setting test pattern.This might require expert help for perfect setting. get estimate.

That is a real possibility.

Take it out and look at it.

Those only have about 3000 hour life on them.

The new bulb is up to $100, and possibly hard to find.

Open up the compartment yourself to examine the bulb.

It should be obvious that its done, when you look at it.

If you "order" a replacement, wear special cloth, "coin handling" gloves to prevent getting
ANYTHING from your hands on it. Don't touch anything but the bulb, while you are
wearing the glove too. One hand for the glove and bulb, the other for everything else.

Use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum and **** any accumulations of dust you can see,
on the case, and in the works.

I dont know the function on that particular model. but you can get manual for free with instructions on
tvpartsandmanuals online. They also have a live tech for assistance.

In above symptom, standby light must be blinking in some specific order with 3 seconds interval, please count its blinks pause to pause and let me know to diagnose problem section.

some pins broke but i had all the screws removed then i was replace the screen , i thought problem fixed but no i have still double colours

so as in the picture right side good left side very bad can i trow away the telly or can it be repaired greeting hendriks s

Two things here.

1) This is a CRT based set so there is no "lamp" involved.
2) The standby light should be blinking a repeated count of blinks with a 2 second pause between counts. Please report the exact count here. This will indicate the circiut in which a problem was detected.

have you had any speakers near the computer and if you still do then would suggest moving them but i think by the redish patch then i would say that it is a magnet near the tv.
