Picture too large for screen on Sony KP 57WS520

If you are using a cable or satellite receiver to tune your channels, they have settings that may be causing the problem. There should be a menu option for System Settings or something similar. Make sure that no type of Zoom has been turned on. Also ensure that your type of TV is set properly. If your TV is a Widescreen then make sure either that or 16:9 is chosen. If all of those settings are correct, and there is no Zoom feature is turned on your TV then there maybe an internal issue with the TV. You'll have to get a technician in to find the problem or check the internal settings that only he can access.

Hi! just need to know if my tv is ready for

Your Sony KP-57WS520 television has an analog tuner, so you may need a digital tuner or a converter box to continue to receive over-the-air programming.
If you subscribe to a cable or satellite service, your television viewing should not be affected by the June 12, 2009, cut-off date for full-power analog broadcasting. Please contact your service provider for complete information.

9 blinking lights

Yes, that's the G board.Replace D 6116 and D6301. 1 is on top of board and 1 is on bottom and very tiny in size surface mount type. You might want to order an extra of that one as they are easy to lose being so small. I have found the larger diode I think it's D6301 fails most often. Buy both but try that one first and test you may only need to do that one.

Blinks four times shuts down.

The d board is the center ( Tan) Board as shown in the pic below. You can get one at the following link. Just leave them a email with your model number and what you need if you dont see it listed as they only list a fraction of the boards that they have.

No Power-blinks 9 times

I've seen many of the same solutions to this problem, but do I dare take out the G board myself? Will it screw anything else up. You can't get a new G board anymore. Where do you get the diodes and how do you replace them yourself.
