My mirror broke in a kdf-50we655 and i need to
First off the mirror in your Sony is not a standard mirror. It's called a "front or first surface" mirror meaning the reflective surface is on top of the clear glass as compared to normal mirror which has the reflective coating behind the glass. The wrong glass will throw the focus off and reduce the brightness...how much I really can't say.
Because of this cleaning the mirror is also very tricky...no alcohol or windex. Use an eyeglass lens type cleaning cloth with a light touch. As for the mirror size...try measuring the mirror mounting or "holding clips" area to determine the original size. Another trick may be to ask your local Sony repair center about the mirror size because they will most likely be your only source to order the correct replacement mirror.
My sony 3LCD TV m/n KDF-E60A20 keeps turning off
It sounds like a defective themal cutoff sensor which is mounted near where the lamp housing slides in. They are well known to fail giving false thermal problems.. Other than that make sure fans are clean and vents are unabstructed. Or could possibly be a lamp. But I suspect the thermal cutoff sensor
Heres its part number 1-910-023-93 should be available at Vance Baldwin or other electronic distributors for about 6.00

Hi I think you have two problems right now one of them is the lamp, if you replaced it 3 years ago.
two the ballast board I think that your ballast has gone bad and it is not sending enough energy to maintain the lamp on and that is the reason it turns off and on.
At this point I would have to say replace the lamp and the ballast and your TV will be working just fine
