You can go to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and type in admin in the first line leave the rest blank. If you set a router password prior if you do not remember it to get to the router page through. Then simply hit the reset button on the router for about 15 seconds. Then type in the IP numbers above again and use admin as the username leave the password blank if this does not work type in admin for the username and also the password. This should get you into the router settings page.
Once there go to the WEP section and click on show characters this will show what you have typed in for a password. If that does not work then simply set the router to default settings this will remove the any password needed to access your internet. Or just delete that password all together and not use it for a minute then redo the password to something else that you will remember. Thanks for using FixYa do not forget to place a vote for me. Please follow the steps in order to resolve the issue:

Make sure you have connected each and every wire/cables to their respective ports/places.

1. Open web browser and type the IP address of the TW100-S4W1CA in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. At the LOGIN, click LOGIN and click on Advanced Setup.
2.Click on WAN and then click Dynamic IP on the left hand side, then select Dynamic IP (Cable Modem) and click on Apply.
3.If your ISP has registered the MAC Address of your computer that you are managing the router from click on Clone MAC Address. This will copy your computers MAC Address to the Router. If you are not managing the computer from the computer with the registered MAC Address make sure you enter the registered MAC Address manually.
4.Click on Apply.

After saving the settings you have to power cycle the modem and router(Turn off the modem and router for 15-30 seconds).

* Reconnect the modem first and wait for it to boot up.
* After the modem has booted up reconnect the Router. Open the web browser and type the IP address of the TW100-S4W1CA in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. At the LOGIN, click LOGIN, then click on Advanced Setup.
* Go to System then Status on the left hand side of the screen
* If there is no WAN IP listed in the WAN section on the right hand side of the screen, click Renew and wait for it to come back with an IP address

Check if have the same problem if the computer is hooked directly to the Modem as well. If you find that the problem is only with the router, try upgrading the firmware. If you still have issues get back to us with the type of ISP you have (Cable/DSL)

Connect the Modem to the WAN port and computers to the LAN ports. Then if your ISP is Cable you have to configure if for Dynamic IP and do MAC clone. If your ISP is DSL call your ISP and know if the router has to be configured in PPPoE or Dynamic IP. Once you obtain a WAN IP address you will be able to go online.

-> Connect your Modem or Internet to the WAN port
-> Connect your computer to anyone of the LAN port
-> Check if you have internet

If not, You should be knowing what kind of Internet you have DSL/Cable

Check if YOu have a WAN IP. WAN IP should not be 0.0.0.0

If it is 0.0.0.0
-> For DSL you have to configure it in PPPoE
-> For Cable you have to configure it in Dynamic IP and click MAC clone

There are two kinds of resets in a router. Soft reset(reset the connection) and hard reset(reset all the settings). I think what you have performed is a soft reset. To perform a hard reset press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. Please be aware that if you perform a hard reset you will have to re-configure your router before you connect to the internet, so make sure you have the settings handy. The default username and password is usually admin or Admin.

the firmware is curropted, try to upgrade the firmware

Does your wireless router have wireless capability? If it does have wifi, you must configure the wireless settings on your airport to match the wireless settings of the router

So you are trying to get to the web setup of this router. it might not be 192.168.0.1 Do this go to start then to run type cmd. a window should open type ipconfig /all now write down or remember the default gateway ip address. Now type that to your web browser that should access the web setup of the router.

Do you have the built in firewall turned on inside the router programming? Is the NAT firewall on? When was the last time if ever you updated the firmware on the router?
