The fact that the compressor is two years old does not mean it cannot break down again, give more details on the problem to troubleshoot further

Most models have the valve located at the back of the machine on the lower left hand side(viewed from the front). You may have to remove the entire back cover via the hex head screws to get at it. (some models have the valve located behind the front toe kick panel.)

First follow the waterline to determine the location of the valve within the fridge. If it is at the front then the toekick panel will have to be removed. If there are no visible screws then it is most likely a clip on style. If there is a knob for temperature setting then the knob may have to be pulled off first.
If there is a smaller cardboard panel at the bottom rear of the fridge remove it and you should see the valve. If not then remove the entire back cover by removing the screws along the rear perimeter of the fridge. The panel may stick to the back of the fridge but gently pull and it will remove. The valve should now be seen and can be disconnected.

Be sure to unplug the machine first and turn off the water supply. There will still be some pressure in the waterline so have a towel ready.

the condensate drain pump will shut unit down and only run drain pump if over fill is seen may be noise you are hearing if condensate pump removed has to be wired so kill switch in drain pump is over ridden for gravity drain

You will need to remove the grill. Unplug the unit, Then on the control board you will see 4 wire with a black connector. Unplug that and plug it in 4 or 5 times. Make sure you dont bend the pins. Then plug the connector back in and plug unit back in. You should have better response on the display. They have a special coating and the pins needs to be cleaned this way.

Follow the water line to the water connection from the water supply from the home. The valve should have two wires connected to it and will likely be behind a removable panel.

You could have a stuck closed water control valve, timer issue or the tray full lever/bail is in the up position.

Hard to say but I would start by checking the thermostat.

Your display will only show ice or off. There is no temperature settings.Now when I give the directions to put it into clean make sure the green led above the symbols is on steady. If you hold down the on/off key and hit the light key 3 times then release the on/off key last.(give a 1/2 second delay from releasing on/off key. It should go to CL. If led lights dont comeon then let me know.

Check for 120 V at valve when it is supposed to be filling

If you pull the cover off the front of the ice maker you will see a little screw in the upper right corner it will have a + and - screw clockwise to the -

Possible water valve needs replaced check to see if you have water up to the valve
