Hi I am sorry but the best advice would be to take it to the shop where you got the mobile from and if you have lnsurance on it they will send it to be repaired or replacement depending on which is cheaper . I don't know how old it is but this would be your best solution.

Try taking the battery out and the sim card , wait for a few minutes then replace sim card and the battery this should reset your phone if not take it back to the shop and ask for a replacement as it appears to be faulty iI would guess that it's a fairly new model . So they should replace it

it had been a pcba hardware issue. the cpu of that pcba is damaged. if u give 214 degree heat and 117 power of air combined for around 2-3 min anti clockwise den it will work again.

You can remove the lock screen but your storage will be totally erased. This feature is enabled only for security purpose.Step 1Flip your HTC Evo over, and pull the rear cover off of the device. Lift the battery out of its recess, and wait for about five seconds. Return the battery to the HTC Evo, and replace the battery cover.Step 2Hold down the "Volume Down" button on the Evo's left edge. I've had the same phone, the battery is really just like that(not good), you should try to find a better one on amazon, one with a high mAh.

After too many failed attempts, your EVO will become locked. At that point it will ask you to put in your gmail username and password. If you dont know your gmail username and or password, you may have to reset your device. another option is if you have sent any email to any of your friends you can always have them let you know what your gmail address is and you can try to reset your password: here is the link to go to to reset your gmail password:

If you dont know the gmail username and or password, here are the steps to reset your device:

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC EVO 4G as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.

1. Turn the power off. If your HTC EVO 4G is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC EVO 4G. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

go to settings, go to wireless and networks, scroll down the list make sure mobile network is not ticked now go back up to wifi and make sure it is ticked and shows your connection below it.

make sure you are entering the right password in when pairing the phone with the router. or if the phone is connected but signal is weak move the router away from interference such as televisions etc can block your signal.
