Not a lot of info to go on, but I'll give you my thoughts on it. In my experience, limited connectivity indicates the modem isn't connecting up to the internet. You can reset the modem by unpowering it for a few seconds, then seeing if it will connect, but I'm sure you've already tried that. Could be a faulty modem, but I doubt it. Chances are there's a software incompatibility issue between the modem and the wireless card. Was the zonet working with the card before? If it was, you might have to go into Network in control panel and delete the linksys connection, and have windows redetect the Zonet. Sorry, all I can think of, not a whole lot of experience in this arena, and my routers always worked. Maybe someone will have had the same problem and know the solution, that would be the easiest way to go, of course.

If the router is connected to the internet then you just have to setup a new internet connection from Network Connections. Select the option for new internet connection. From there read carefully all the options before selecting. And even if you go wrong anywhere, you can come BACK and correct yourself. Select the Router and then give the ID and Password and you will be through.

Try admin as the user and administrator as the password. These are case sensitive. If they don't work in that order reverse them and try them and even go all capital letters.

This problem is common if your password has expired. If you suspect that this may be true you can contact your network administrator for help or you can simply change your password and restart and see if you've gained network connectivity.

If your connection is DSL and a software is provided for you, make sure that it not running while connected to the router. The username and the password should be entered in the router and connection as PPPoE in its set up. If it is Cable you may have to "clone" the physical address or MAC address of your computer. On windows click start -> Run -> type cmd -> type ipconfig /all you should see there the physical address and have it copied on the router. Remember to power down the router and the modem when connecting them together. Turn on first the modem until lights are stable, then the router.

It's possible that the router is limiting the number of DHCP connections to TWO.  Check under your router setup page and look for "Maximum DHCP Users" and see what it is set to.

you may try this and see if this help solve your problem. make sure your computer is directly connected to the router

Step 1: Shutdown the computer.
Step 2: reset the router while power on then Unplug the router’s power cable.
Step 3: Unplug the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Plug in the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for its lights to appear stable.
Step 5: Plug in the router's power cable once the modem’s lights appear stable.
Step 6: Power on the computer on and configure the router settings
Step 7: test the Internet connection.

if this still didnot work, upgrade the firmware of your router and repeat the same steps.

note:

configuring the router settings will depends who is your provider. if your isp is dsl you need to configure your ISP username (email address format) and password on the router. if your router is a cable no need to change any settings on the router. it should automatically work

Are you running a virus scanner or internet security software?

Is it active and has it been updated recently?

Do you perform periodic full scan of your systems and are they clean?

Do you run any apyware packages?

Are they active and have they been updated lately?

Do you perform periodic scans with them and is your system clean?

Not all virus scanners, etc catch all problems. Some catch different items.

Consider using free online services from some of the security vendors to double check your product. Several to consider

Trend Micro

Fsecure (www.fsecure.com and search for online scanner)

Symantec

Consider free spyware software for additional checks if you have not choosen to purchase a product to do this.

Lavasoft

Spybot

Clean up the issues found and see if the problems are eliminated.

Using the following instructions from the zonet website to get your IP address will also reveal your router's address in the default gateway entry (assuming your computer receives it's IP information via DHCP from the router or has been staticslly configured correctly). This will be the value you utilize instead of 192.168.1.1 to access the router's configuration.
