hit menu and then hit the up volume button once and thn you should have it by the way i cant play games on mine how r you playing games on yours?

I would suspect that the battery might be bad on this unit. What is your MP3 player model #?

Check power supply transisters possible shorted
and check transister next to ht runs picture may be shorted also check diodes 4off runs ac to dc
changover , this possible causes the fuse to blow , allways be carefull when pluging any
electrical item in

Go to the TV setup menu and look for the V-Chip settings. Turn it off altogether or if you have children you may want to just raise the block up to MA, R, or X rated programs

Use some windex on the pickup on the front of the tv. It's a little dark spot, either round or square that picks up the signal from the remote.

Unless you're a technician, you'll need to take it in for repair. There's nothing a layman can do if a new fuse blows also.

You'll have to take the TV in for repair - this is not a DIY possibility unless you're a technician familiar with audio circuits.

Not economically. The ticking sound is a sure sign of high-voltage shutdown, and is coming from your flyback transformer - the most expensive part in the TV besides the picture tube. Even if it's not the flyback, troubleshooting the high voltage section is usually more than the cost of a new TV.

There may be a short in the video game system, which could have fried something in the input circuits. And of course, make sure you have your TV cable plugged in, and the TV set to cable position before determining that the TV has an actual problem. Unfortunately, some functions may only be on the remote of course.

Yes, this is an easy problem for a technician to repair, especially if you still have all the broken parts. If nothing else, he can simply install a new jack anywhere on the back of the TV - if he has to order the exact replacement part, it will increase the cost dramatically and take much longer. If you're okay with a quick fix that "will work", anyone handy with a soldering iron can fix it.

if you have dish network then all you have to do is press the button that says TV then press the button that says TV Video.

from what your describing it sounds like a resolution or ratio setting on your t.v. you can change these setting on your cable box and t.v as well this seems to be the setting on your t.v. since you have already unhooked the cable box. if changing the settings doesnt resolve your issue you may have some failed components on the pc board that could be repaired by a repairman v/s purchasing a new one. hope this was helpful....

Try TV/Video button on your universal remote or some similar button that'll change the input, also try connecting to back ports of TV.

I have the same problem with a 6420ff sylvania tv with a xbox 360. I plug the red white yellow into the front of the tv and it wont come on.

they call that line pixels and the only way to fix is a new lcd panel. if you have under 8 pixels your warrinty won!t cover with some companys

There is a bad capacitor in the vertical circuit. If you feel comfortable working inside a set and can solder, update this and I'll try to get the specifics for you.

the deguasser in your tv may not be working right..or the magnets in the corner of your tv has moved....it can be manually deguassed but a tv shop would have to do it..
