Yes, it is not possible to exit into any service mode without any remote. I've been almost 25 service mode entering and exiting on any brands since 2004 thus i said impossible to exit without a remote. Thanks for using Fixya.

Sounds like an eeprom problem or a microprocessor problem??? Also make sure the tv didnt lose its channel memory by reprogramming the channels feature in the menu. Good Luck

They do not say how to select Video or Game mode without the remote. Try connecting a vcr or game to the input and do the Channel Pre-Select process to see if that will pick up the input as part of the Channel Scan. If it does you will be able to get to Game or Video using the channel up/down buttons. Another option is to get a replacement universal remote that has a code for your TV and will assign a button for Game or Video.

That will only work if you have a HDMI plug in the TV and the PC computer, both audio and video signals are carried through the HDMI cable.
