Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand

My Sylvania T.V. turns on and then it turns off by itself. It only stays on for onr minute.

This is not a fault with TV or remote control. Some codes will not work for all functions. Just try an other code for your TV. You can get it from the code list of the remote control. Try synchronising an other one. Select one code, which have maximum functionality.

Yes. There should be. Check the main power regulator circuit side. A glass cartridge type fuse, rated 3.5Amps will be there. It can be replaced.

Try unplugging the tv and taking batteries out of remote for a few seconds

Press Channel Up/Down button to switch to TV mode and if that does not help then tv remote is required to change input source of tv/vcr combo.

If you have connected the audio video out of DVD to audio video in to the TVs front panel; what else to do?. Power up both the devices, goto the menu option of your tV, set it to vidieo mode, open the tray of the DVD by it open-close button, put a dvd disc in, push open close button of the DVD again, take the remote control of the DVD; select the chapter you want to see, sit back easy and see the recordings on the disc. That is all. OK.

If this set is brand new and the color is poor, it is time to take it back otherwise it will simply get worse.

Are you trying to get the Playstation to show on your tv. and you have lost your TV remote?

If so you need to locate the Input/AV/Source button on your TV. If you have difficulty let me know ill get a manual for you.

You have enabled V-Chip aka Parental control that will block programs not suitable for minors. You should disable it to be able to watch all programs un restricted again

You would use the Sylvania remote. It will either have a TV/Vid button or an input button. The screen will display "Video" or "Line". You can also do this from the front of the set by pressing "CH-" it will go "3", "2", "Video"

Hi, that is something you can do is clean your
your remote by using wood alcool ;removed the battery open the remote and remove all dust and grease, whit a qtips on the contact board and the sheet rubber wip it of whit a scottowel make sure to not dammage the contact on it. if it is not to hold that should work verry well rebuild that in place and try it
