The dust had to be wayyyy excessive to any damage to the tv,it does not help but it wont hurt onless there was also water involved,if you have no indication of power (no lights ,no clicks)it might only be a fuse,if a drill or something similar was plugged in the same outlet as the tv that might have created the problem,if you are familiar with tv service or someone you know can safely remove the back and check the fuse is might be worth the effort.Just to make sure plug a lamp in the same outlet as the tv just to see if you have power coming out of it,the people working might have killed the circuit.Let Us know how it goes or if you need more information.
