HOW TO PUT CODES IN SCANNER
To enter a known frequency into your scanner:
- Power the scanner ON
- Press HOLD to stop scanning.
- Enter the number of the channel that you wish to program.
- Pres the FUNC and PGM keys.
- Enter the frequency, including decimal point.
- Press E to enter the information into memory.

How do iclear to reset
Resetting the scanner automatically clears all frequencies from memory and restores the unit to original factory settings. To RESET your scanner:
- Power the scanner OFF.
- Press and hold the 2, 9, and HOLD keys and power the scanner ON.
- The word CLEAr will appear after about 3 seconds, indicating that the scanner is ready to accept new programming.

How to setup manual scanner
To manually enter a known frequency:
- Power the scanner ON.
- Press HOLD to stop scanning.
- Enter the channel number that you wish to program.
- Press FUNC then PGM (the channel number will display).
- Enter the frequency, including decimal point (e.g., 156.065).
- Press E to store the frequency in memory.

How to tell what the buttons do?
The HOLD key lets you freeze the scanner on an active channel. For instance, if the scanner stops on channel 3, and there's a lot of action there. you can press HOLD to lock the scanner on that channel until you press the SCAN key. Repeatedly pressing the HOLD key will manually advance the selected channel.
SCAN releases a HOLD asnd will also take the unit out of PROGRAM or SEARCH modes and start it scanning the frequencies that you've programmed.
FUNCTION selects the secondary (lower) function of a key. For example, pressing FUNCTION and then the E (ENTER) key will switch the scanner to Pgm (Programming) mode - which lets you enter and store frequencies into the unit's memory so that you can scan them later.

Cant get weather on hand held scanner
The 92 does not have a separate/dedicated weather band feature, but you can program individual NOAA frequencies into it. Weather broadcast frequencies are: 162.400 MHz : 162.425 MHz : 162.450 MHz : 162.475 MHz : 162.500 MHz : 162.525 MHz : 162.550 MHz.
D104-M6B WIRING FOR A UNIDEN 880 RADIO DIGRAM
Here is the wiring diagram for connecting a D104-M6B microphone to a Uniden 880 radio:
- Shield: Connect to pin 1 of the microphone jack on the radio
