That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..
Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..
1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter
Cd player does not work
Try cleaning the lens using a CD Cleaner you can buy from alot of shops.
If it fails use it a few times then if it still wont play , or the disk failed to spin all together then you probably have a faulty spindle motor.
No power at all when plug into power soucres
It is not much difficult.Look for AC supply cord. Test it on Ohm meter and then look for AC voltage.Look for continuty of mains transformer,look for DC voltage, 12 volts and 5 volts if both the voltages are present then set should work.

tune into the station you want as normal. Then on the remote, press & hold the number key for the preset number you want. This will flash in the display to show you it's set. You can preset 30 FM & 15 AM stations.
Aux In Troubleshooting
Faulty 3.5mm male to male cable maybe? I had the same problem with a cable I made myself, the wire was too thin and was just twisted together. I made it from 2 extension jacks I bought from a dollar store. I re-made it properly with 3.5mm jacks bought from an electronics store with thicker wires that I soldered on. It worked fine after that.
