TV sensor for remote control not working

Fault with TV remote sensor section circuit is very rare. Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. Dvd freezes

If less than a year old, this TV is likely under warranty but should have been taken back immediately to address the issue. I suggest contacting the vendor or manufacturer.

My sound stopped working on my tv

It might be that the sound amplifer is defective if you know anything about electronic you can fix it . If not better take it to someone who can repair it. The amplifer is the part of electronic that amplifies current so the speekers can be driven. Check it if there is a bad solder or anyhing suspicious.

Magnavox 25TS52

If its a LCD set not plasma I would look at the connectors going in and out of the Tcon board, remove them and reseat them, if that doesn't help replace the board. There is one other thing you can try and that is remove the board and put it in your oven at I think its 370 degrees for 10 minutes, Ive never tried doing this but there are some vids on people having good luck doing this, what happens is there are some cold solder joints on the components and putting it in the over will heat them up and the board will work again, search this on youtube and there are vids on how to do it.

Tv working fine, then suddenly, pop and black screen, sound is ok

The issue here is that the zeners in question are merely like a safety fuse and replacing them before identifying and fixing the cause of the problem will only cause your replacement zeners to blow aswell.... personally if it is a true plasma it likely chews through alot of power anyway so I would take the opertunity to replace the TV with a newer much less power hungry led TV and in doing so save the hip pocket and the environment.

I need a cord I need for an observation cam from magnavox

Strange, I have the opposite problem, I have the cord and camera, but no monitor. I found the following fix below to make this camera hook up to any tv or monitor, but it's greek to me. It may help you though! Or, if you can translate these instructions for me to hook up mine, I'l happily GIVE you my cord!

"The DC power was sent up the coax and the video is AC coupled and sent back down. If you open the
camera and trace the wire from the center pin of the UHF connector, it will lead to an inductor
and a large value capacitor. The video is coupled through the capacitor, which blocked the DC
power from the video output amp. The inductor (coil) blocks the video from getting back into the
power section.
Cut the inductor loose from the center wire of the connector. Put well filtered +12 VDC at 500
mA (1/2 amp) or greater into the inductor at this point while running a video cable from the jack
to a video monitor or to the video input of your home VCR. Then you can see the video on your TV.
Power return is to the ground of the connector or any other convenient grounding node.
