There's a lot of reason why your computer is not turning on. If you said that when you trying to turn on your computer it sound beep or clicking. Try to feel or look at the back of your system unit if your power supply fan turning. If it's turning there is no problem with your power supply unless you test it with multitester. If no display but your computer is on, it means that you have to check your memory or video card try cleaning pin of your memory and video card. First you have to electro static discharge by holding the chasis of your computer, because the computers component is very sensitive to electro static. Good Luck

Cursor does not move after complete system

1) Are the Logitech keyboard, and mouse USB? Do they have a USB connector on the end of their cables?

If you use a PS/2 connector adapter, you'll be able to workaround this problem, and use System Restore.

Example:

http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=104&sku=35700

Then try to use the System Restore disks again.

Or borrow a keyboard and mouse that use a PS/2 connector, and try to use the System Restore disk/s again.

2) Under the B in Back, and under the N in Next, see if there is an underline. ( _ )
If so you can press the b key, and the Enter key to use Back.
Same for Next. Press the n key, and Enter key.

If this is a power on password it can be deleted. Power off the PC, Take off the side panel, locate the J1 jumper (It has three pins and is connected across 1&2). It is usually near the battery. This is silver and is about 3/4 inch in diameter. Take the jumer off 1&2, put it across 2&3, wait 1 minute and put it back. Replace panel and power up. NO password!
