If it has a backup battery, remove the battery, unplug from mains, plug back in, reconnect battery.

On the Timex T311, to disable the radio alarm, press the Radio Alarm button once. The Radio Alarm Indicator light should go out and the radio alarm won't sound. If you press the Radio Alarm button once more, the radio alarm will toggle to on and that indicator light will come on. Similarly, press the Buzzer Alarm button once to enable the buzzer alarm and press it again to disable the alarm. See page 9 of the manual to see the directions to toggle these alarms on and off. To disable the alarm, make sure that the radio is off. Then press the appropriate alarm button (ALM 1 or ALM 2 on the top of the clock at the right of the line of multiple buttons) repeatedly until neither the Buzzer or Radio indicators for that alarm are lit. This is given in the manual on page 8. However, the detail about making sure that the radio is off is only in the sections about setting the alarm (page 4 and 6). I researched all data covering a Timex Alarm Clock with USB ports, and found none that allowed you to charge the clock with the USB port. The USB ports on the clock allow you to charge your mobile device using the clock power as the source. Your charging mobile device should show you charging complete. Hope this helps.
