Check its speaker first. If it is OK, check audio output circuit side on its main board. Visit this site for more details. Type in the site name "Electro-help" either to Google or Yahoo search box [not in the address bar of your browser], and click search. It is an electronic equipments service help site. All details you want are there. Note the position of hyphen in between words in site name, when you type it in. The site will appear as it is in web; subtitled as Service help to electronic home entertainment equipments.

Pull up older posts. You can get all details.

Site is listed with Google. You can locate it either at the bottom part of first search page, or at the top of second page.

Sometimes, one among the advertisements by the side and bottom of each post might help you to get details about the availability of spare parts and other components.

The Sanyo FW32D06F will only display JPEG (jpg) and motion JPEG files (avi); your USB device must be formatted as a FAT16 or FAT32 device. The three letter code in parentheses is the file extension. This is given in the manual. The specifics for using a USB drive is on page 30. Page 35 has just the specifications of the TV, including the file types. The manual is available from the product page: http://sanyo-av.com/product/product.php?id=556 . Click on Downloads. The direct link to the manual is http://www.funaiport.com/download/download.php?id=4801&brand=SANYO .

I hope this helps.

Hi Dan, what could happen is that you repeat the fault, so it counts on this fault, the Backlights circuit or its power supply (Inverter), it can have some false contact, in solders or connection
To the extent that you can, check this stage of the TV, so that it does not go back to repeat the failure
If you have technical knowledge, I will send you a link to download the service manual
But use it and when it fails again, take it to a specialized technical service
I hope I can solve your concern
Greetings Franco Dosil

Hello Mike, check that your remote control, has no key locked or may be emitting
If you want to test if your remote is emitting, take your cell phone, enable the camera, focus the remote control emitter against the camera and see if you see that the emitter illuminates, if not, press any button and there you should see that lights up
If the test with the remote control, shows that it does not emit until you press a key, it controls in front of the Sanyo DVD, that there is no key locked
As a final test, change the DVD disc and put an audio CD and test is done the same
If you repeat the fault, go to a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

This will not fix your DVD player, but it will let you play your DVD. The easy, free way to bypass this problem is to play the movie on a laptop using VLC media player. Run an HDMI cable to your amplifier or your smart TV. VLC does not recognize Cinavia. This also works on any mkv movie copies.

More than likely you should find your RCA jacks stereo that are labeled lined out and that should be the input to your sound bar then configure your TV accordingly.

All DVD players will have have cables in the back that will also be plugged into the tv
1 is a power cord to wall
The others are for audio and video there are 3 types or ways to wire a DVD player
it will be a coax cable that i wide and stiff & the connector screws on, that is for video, and it will require 2 other cords that are red & white for audio. They just push in
Or
you have a set of 5 cables that are colored green blue yellow for video red white. For audio these just push in
Or
you will have an HDMI that is one cord with a wide connector that will push in

if you can see the back of the tv you can follow the cable from the DVD player to the back of the tv and the tv will have a label very near the connector indicating which input the DVD player is on.

If you cannot see the back of the tv; you will have to check to make sure your cables are securely plugged in.

turn off the dish network device

Turn on the DVD player and wait about 20 seconds, press play this way there is a signal or picture going to one of the inputs.

turn on the tv, "smart tv's" will know that a signal is coming in and they Adjust to the input that is sending a signal. If yours does not do that

press input wait 20 seconds each time you press it until you see a picture from the dvd.

if that doesn't work the your problem is the cables
if your press input and the tv screen says dvd; but your cables are plugged into another input like AUX or game, then you have to chose AUX or Game on the screen to view the dvd.

please reply to the comments if you are successful or have more information and I can help you resolve this issue,

GoodLuck!!!

Hello Wayne, to know where the Back Light inverter is, you have to remove the lid of the TV, with extreme care and observe where the cables that come from inside the lighting panel are connected
I personally think that the TV has problems in the LED strips that are responsible for retro lighting the screen, I do not think the problem comes from the inverter
If you have technical knowledge, you should disarm the front panel, with extreme care and reach the led strips and try one by one, these are all connected in series, so if any LED is burned, the circuit is interrupted and does not turn on
I sent you the link of a supplier of these led strips, which are usually the ones that fail
I hope you can solve the problem, if not, take it to a specialized technical service
Greetings Franco Dosil
