That sounds like a manufacturers fault to me, i would take them back and raise hell, in my professional opinion that just don't happen, unless there is a design failure, often sets are recalled and modified free of charge due to an occurrence such as you describe, the exact same symptoms are pretty much unheard of unless there really is a problem, get onto Sanyo head office and indicate whats gone on, you may be surprised to find there is a free fix...or even contact the local service center as they may also very well know about it and have a repair bulletin. We get them in the shop all the time, and if a customer brings in a unit with such a fault, they are often surprised to find part of the cost id covered by manufacturer..service bulletin warranty claim, usually though they must be inside warranty, but even then, most times they are reasonable,and will still fix them when put on the spot. here's hoping. All countries have differing Chassis.

Take the tv to pc world and thay will replace it

It sounds like you have the image on the perspective. If you tv is 4:3 aspect ration the video source (cable box, dvd ) must be set for a 4:3. If you have a 16:9 ratio (widescreen) the soutrce should be set to 16:9..................Nevermind, Just looked it up you this TV is 4:3.

Your TV remote will have a button to toggle/change the aspect ratios of the TV. Button could be called picture/aspect/image etc. If you have an HD cable box you need to go into the video setting and chnage the aspect ratio to match the 4:3 tv.

next time dont get water on it and if you pushed too hard when you wiped it that makes it worse.

with a lightning strick any thing can go. check diodes, dc fuse regulator and while U are at it check the horzontal output transistor

Yup, this is a fairly High end model, and supports NTSC50, V Hold is automatic, H-Sync is also automatic

This could be a tuner problem or maybe if you have cable the little tyke somehow got into the menu of the tv and switched they type of cable signal you have in your area. Try to go into the menu ,find the auto tunning feature and go through that again. If that dosent work test the cable line your using with another set at the same location. If that tells you the cables good by geting color on another set its time to call in a service person as I decsribed all the things i would hve tryed .
