on your far right, there is a transformer with a cable going to a tube, near that is small IC, for verticle amplification, change that one togather with one electrolictic capacitors, connected to a IC and a and a cable going to a scan coil.
that is the only problem on tv with a line
Flickering multi-colored line in the middle of the screen.
You have a failure in the vertical deflection circuit. This could be either a bad vertical chip, the power supply that runs the chip or a bad capacitor in that circuit. This is usually a repair best left to a professional. There is a small possibility that it could be bad solder connections. If genlty tapping the unit temporarily solves the issue you can try and resolder the pins on the vertical chip LA7841 is the part number. There is also a resistor 1 ohm 1 watt. If that resistor is open you can assume the IC is bad
My tv don't work
Inside the set is a part, usually a thermistor that kicks in the degaussing coil. That is the part that will clear up any stray magnetic field interference. These parts can fail over time. It sound to me like the thermistor has failed and the degaussing process no longer occurs. This is a $10 part and is usually stocked by any TV service shop. Call around and explain that you need this part replaced to get the least expensive service for this set.

My tv is stuck on video
I do not know your original problem.
If you are inputting video by the Scart connector the television will automatically read that input because the Scart has a priority, pin 8 I think, which will be at 12 volts when the video is not in standby.
Unplug the scart lead and the TV should revert to Recieved channels.
If this is cable connected, ie. not via an aerial, then I have not an answer, try the cable company.
TV won't turn on
You probably have a high voltage arc in your set. Probably the flyback transformer arcing.
Stargazer
No orginal remote
Did you try the differnt TV mode buttons? Thats what i do on my tv to change from video.
Paperclip broke off in my antenna jack of my TV
You could try a small, powerful magnet. You can get a magnet that is on a telescoping pole at some hardware stores - they're used to pick up dropped screws, and things like that. Something like this: http://www2.northerntool.com/product/200314334.htm
That might be strong enough to pull it out. As far as dismantling the connector - it's not really something you can take apart, or at least not something you can put back together afterwards. At best, you could open up the case, remove the connector and solder on a replacement connector. I think your best bet is the magnet pick-up tool.

Panasonic tv 27"
I not familiar with this model but, If the video select button is below the screen. I would suspect "windex damage"! Cleaning screen by spraying directly on crt causes this is some sets. The button gets corroded or part of this circuit. If this is the case, replace/ inspect/clean around switches.
Protection diode(s),capacitor across switch, faulty switch or bad processor input are other causes.
